eGOa, How it works
What exactly you buy, where your money travels, how the year is shared and what it really costs. No fine print: the large print is the same one you sign.
Every eGOa home is divided into 8 shares. When you buy one, you acquire a real stake in the property within a trust structure — with your project's exact documentation delivered before you sign.
Seven steps, each with a clear deliverable. You never move on without understanding the previous one; that's the rule, for you and for us.
On WhatsApp with Ivanna, on a call or at a Co-ownership Thursday. First we understand what you're looking for, use, investment or both, and who's deciding with you. If eGOa isn't a fit for you, we'll tell you that too.
Deliverable: your diagnosis, not a catalogVisit the project or review it in a session with the full proposal: property, calendar, costs and structure. Your project's legal sheet explains exactly what you're acquiring, your rights and your exits.
Deliverable: project sheet + legal sheetA simple identity and source-of-funds check. That's how we make sure every co-owner community is made up of verified people, even when you put the group together with your family or friends.
Deliverable: your confirmed admissionYou hold your shares with conditions, amounts and dates documented in writing. No ambiguity: what we discussed is what gets signed.
Deliverable: documented reservationYour investment goes straight to the trust's collection account — never to an eGOa account. Funds are managed with full traceability and released against verifiable milestones.
Deliverable: proof of your contribution to the trustYou sign the instruments that define your stake: rights, obligations, house rules, transfer and exit conditions. Full traceability from start to finish.
Deliverable: your formalized stakeYou activate the app, choose your dates and arrive. eGOa manages maintenance, services and operations with open books: every expense, visible to every co-owner.
Deliverable: your keys, and your time backExample based on a US$ 200,000 home divided into 8 shares. Each property publishes its own price per share. Limit: 4 shares (1/2) per co-owner.
The obvious question: so who gets January? eGOa's answer isn't "whoever's fastest" or "whoever's best friends with whom": it's a fairness algorithm that rotates booking priority among the 8 co-owners, year after year.
Your ~45 days (6+ weeks), spread across seasons. Illustrative: the exact mix is set by each property's fairness algorithm.
The house rule: if a number isn't on your sheet, it doesn't exist. Each property publishes its price per share, its monthly fee and its funds before you reserve.
The solid line is your money: it goes from you to the trust, and from the trust to the property. eGOa structures and manages, which is why it sits outside the line.
The trust releases funds against verifiable progress, not against trust. If the milestone doesn't happen, the money doesn't move.
The home lives as trust assets: separate from eGOa's own assets and protected for the co-owners.
Your project's legal sheet, what you acquire, rights, obligations and exits, arrives before you sign, not after.

If you'll use the home more than 180 days a year, if you need exclusive control to remodel it to your taste, or if managing your property is part of the pleasure — buy it outright. It's the right decision in that case, and we'll tell you so on the first call.
eGOa makes sense when buying outright exceeds your real use or concentrates too much capital in a single asset. And if one day you decide to sell that whole house you already own, Sell with Impact turns it into the first home of a family in need.
No. A timeshare sells periods of use on something that's never yours. At eGOa the core is ownership: you acquire a real stake and the calendar only organizes the use of what already belongs to you. The difference is signed, not promised.
No. The amount corresponds to the value of the stake you acquire under your project's structure. It isn't an advance toward buying 100% later.
You acquire the stake defined in your project's legal structure, and before buying you receive the documentation that explains exactly what you're acquiring, how it's formalized, and what your rights and obligations are. If a document doesn't say it, it doesn't count.
Two paths. One: you put the group together, family, friends, partners, and eGOa provides the structure so nobody ever fights over January. Two: eGOa completes the community with co-owners verified at admission, with the same rules signed by everyone.
That's what the reserve fund is for: it covers contingencies and protects the home's operation while the mechanisms set out in each project's rules are applied. The home doesn't stop, and neither does your experience.
Yes, under each property's transfer and exit conditions, which you know in writing before you buy. Your stake is an asset: it can be transferred and inherited under that structure.
Yes. The days you don't use are yours: you can give them to your family or put them up for rent and turn your unused time into income, under your project's rules.
Because renting ends when the stay ends: you pay more every year and nothing's left. At eGOa, use comes from your status as a co-owner, and every dollar keeps an equity dimension. And the home waits for you fully equipped, yours, with no haggling over rates every December.
With eGOa's fairness algorithm: the booking order rotates every year among the co-owners, the seasons are balanced, Peruvian holidays included, and everything is booked from the app with rules visible to all 8. Math, not elbows.
Then do it, and it's probably the right call if you'll use it heavily or need full control. eGOa exists for the other case: when buying outright exceeds your real use or locks up capital your wealth needs in motion.
